Hyundai releases their first teaser images of its upcoming Ioniq 9, which is a three-row electric SUV, which will be revealed in full this November. It was originally viewed as the concept seven back in 2021, and only the name made it different from the Ioniq 9.
The Ioniq 9 design focuses on specificity in the interior, providing comfort across all it's rows. Also, this electric SUV will ride on an E-GMP platform that's also on other Ioniq models and also on Kia's EV6 and EV9 Three Row.
The Ionoqs 9 design is defined by the language "aerostatic," which is a term that Hyundai highlights the focus of aerodynamics. From the images, shadow profiles show sleek bodywork and design. It features a distinctive unbroken line that runs from the headlights to the taillights, and the roofline consists of a curve that descends from the front to the back tail.
The design of the Ioniq 9 appears to remain to the original seven Concept description, with a long wheelbase and multispoke wheel design that enhances the Ioniq 9's overall look, and what makes it better is the front lightning that includes Hyundai's distinctive parametric pixel. The images were just revealed on Hyundai's social media pages, but they are going to be unveiled in full detail in November.
