The Honda HP-X Concept presseded the development of the NSX and was built to show the intention of Honda to bring a mid-size engine sportscar into the Market. This car doesn't look as much like the 1980s cars as it consists of cutting-edge technology such as ground effect aerodynamics, Carbon fiber, honeycomb panels, and Kevlar; this made it the less-weight sports car of that decade.

The 1984 HP-X measured 163.8 inches thus (4,160 mm ) long,70.1 inches (1,780 mm )wide, and 43.7 inches (1,110 mm ) tall. The interior had Two futuristic seats and the cabin was ahead of that time. One could think that the car was of today as the cockpit of the HP-X had two screens, one serving as an analog cluster and the other one at the center console. The car had an integrated "Electronic Drive Support System," which looked like those days. The navigation system provided GPS location data and telemetry to the console screen in the cockpit, provided weather reports and traffic conditions, and used soundwaves to read the condition of the road.

A naturally aspirated 2.0 liter 24 valve V6 engine was used. It was sourced from Honda's Formula 2 Program in the 80's; during that period, F2 Racecars were estimated to produce over 310 horsepower. The HP-X seemed to be the legend of that time to now; at the opening of the lawn, we will be updating you on what went on at the event.
