The 2024 Nissan GT-R

This year sees the return of the mid-tier T-Spec model, which lies between the premium and full-blown Nismo version, for the 2024 Nissan GT-R.

What's New for the 2024 GT-R

The increase in downforce without increasing the drag coefficient is achieved by the front and rear ends with thinner grilles and reshaped spoilers. A new stealth gray color option has also been added to the Nismo color palette, and the reintroduced T-Spec model brings back the iconic midnight purple and millennium jade heritage colors.

Power and Performance

The 2024 GT-R comes with a standard turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine that makes a mighty 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. The engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission that transfers the power to all four wheels (AWD). This enables the GT-R to launch itself from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. As in past models, this ride is firm, but thanks to its active sound cancellation, the thrum of the engine doesn't punish your eardrums when cruising.

Interior and Comfort

The front seats are roomy and comfortable, but the rear seats are cramped and suitable only for small adults or children. Every model features a dual-zone climate control, leather-and-suede-covered upholstery, heated front seats, and more.

The front dashboard features an 8-inch touchscreen that can also be controlled with a rotary knob on the center console. The Apple CarPlay capability, built-in navigation, and a Bose 11-speaker audio system are standard. There are also customizable data displays with readouts of various metrics such as coolant and oil temperatures, g-forces, boost pressure, and more engine parameters.

Cargo

The 2024 GT-R has a decent cargo space for a sports car, with 8.8 cubic feet of trunk volume. That's enough to fit a couple of small suitcases or a few grocery bags. However, the rear seats do not fold down, so you won't be able to expand the cargo area for larger items. There are also some small storage spaces in the cabin, such as cupholders, door pockets, and a glove box.

Pricing

The price of the 2024 GT-R starts at $122,985 for the premium model and goes up to $222,985 for the Nismo model, depending on the trim and options. The T-Spec model, which is limited to 100 units, costs $138,985 and comes with exclusive features such as carbon-ceramic brakes, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and gold-painted Rays forged-alloy wheels.
